Adhering to our philosophy of active investment, for each company we designate a ‘Deal Lead’ who represents all investing members’ interests.
This approach streamlines communication between entrepreneurs and our members. Typically, and depending on the size of the investment, our Deal Lead also secures a board position in the newly invested startup, ensuring direct involvement and oversight
Joining the MedTech Syndicate has allowed me to leverage collective intelligence and resources, ultimately driving better investment outcomes. The camaraderie and support from fellow investors are invaluable
In the absence of a current specialist medtech VC, the presence of the Medtech Syndicate has supported innovation in the start up sector. The syndicate’s collective knowledge and strategic partnerships have made it easier to evaluate and close on more investments, accelerating my deal flow and increasing my overall portfolio. The collaborative environment fosters shared expertise, reduces due diligence work and enables me to make more informed investment decisions
Investing with the MedTech Syndicate has been a game-changer for me. The collaboration and shared expertise within the group have led to informed decision-making and a diversified portfolio that I couldn't have achieved alone.
Investing with the MedTech Syndicate has been of real interest to me. The collaboration and shared expertise within the group have led to informed decision-making and a diversified portfolio that I couldn't have achieved alone. It allows us to use our own thoughts and collaborate with colleagues to see if something is worth investing in. It is definitely for a long term strategy and at the higher end of the risk scale. Having this as a smaller percentage of a persons investing strategy can lead to some interesting journeys and hopefully stellar returns. The thing that I enjoy most is having combined expertise in the room looking at the same pitch and different views emerging with some overall consensus.
